I was addicted to ultram for almost a
year. You cannot go cold turkey!
Find a suboxone clinic. It is a partial
opiate medication you can get to help.
You can also just tell your family Dr.
You need to wean off ultram . I told my
Dr. And she gave me 45 pills and a
weaning plan.I choose to take suboxone.
I took up to 15 pills a day, the 50mgs

Btw. Even though ultram is a synthetic
opiate. You can still take suboxone.
Very common. No worries.

im the morning, imgonna try and snap a
pill in half and take 1 1/2 at bed time
and 1 and 1/2 in the morning, for about a
month, then go down to one pill at bed
time, and 1 in the morning for about a
month in a half, that should do it??? I
have tons of utram, because I don't take

I hope this helps......Just a few weeks
ago I was down to taking two pills a day,
one in the morning first thing and one in
the afternoon. For a couple of weeks
now, I have only been taking one, waiting
as long as I can before I take it. I
waited until 10:00 am for several days,
then 11:00am, now I am at 3:30pm.
Tomorrow I will try to make it until
4:30pm, just taking one a day. If I find
something else to do when I have the
cravings.....Anything that makes me move
around.....Not sitting.....Seems to work
best for me. If I keep pushing the time
up and up before I take it, hopefully I
will be off the stuff for good. I find I
have fewer withdrawal symptoms this way.
This is slow weaning, but effective.
I hope this helps....I keep it written
down in my journal so I can control and
keep track of it.
I TOOK ULTRAM CORRECTLY IN THE BEGINNING,
BUT FOUND OUT TOO LATE THAT IT IS
EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE. THE WITHDRAWAL FROM
ULTRAM IS AWFUL. I EXPERIENCED SWEATS,
COUGH, INCREASE MUCUS, YAWNING, DIARRHEA,
SEVERE STOMACH CRAMPS, AWFUL HEADACHES.
THIS IS ONE OF THE HARDEST DRUGS TO GET
OFF OF. I HAD TO GO THE A REHAB TO GET
OFF. THEY USED SUBOXONE WHICH HAS BEEN A
LIFE SAVER. SUBOXONE IS A PARTIAL
NARCOTIC ANTAGONIST WHICH BINDS TO THE
OPIATE RECEPTORS. SINCE ULTRAM TAKES THE
SAME OPIATE TYPE RECEPTORS, YOU CAN BE
DETOXED WITH SUBOXONE. THAT WAS THE
SICKEST I HAD EVER BEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE.
THE DOCTORS WHO PRESCRIBE ULTAM ARE
UNAWARE OF ITS POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SEVERE
ADDICTION. I HAD BUILT UP A PHYSICAL
DEPENDENCY TAKING MORE THAN 12-15 TABS PER
DAY. THE SAFE LIMIT IS 400 MG DAILY.
