Q: Orgasm Headache

Just recently (in the past week) I had masturbated, half way through I started to get this massive headache, I tried to ignore it....But it just grew when it got to the stage that I could no longer continue masturbating - I had to lie down (i was originally on a chair), but that did nothing, I tried breathing harder - nothing, I tried drinking water - headache is still there. The headache pulses throughout the back of my head and my neck, it gets worse as I get closer to orgasm. But the headache doesnt go after orgasm....It stays for hours at end, its not as bad the headache, but its still there at the back of my head and my neck. When it happened the first time after masturbation...I was like "what - thats the worst headache pain I have ever experienced", I then masturbated again about 1 day later (i think....If not more) and the exact same thing happened to me....Same headache - and it lasted pretty much for the rest of the day.

After this happened I decided to do some research on it....Cause I was getting worried....And it seems that my symptons are called "orgasm headaches" (there is also some technical word for it). I just wanted to know whether these headaches will go sometime soon? Or how to elininate them? I am only 17 years old....My sex drive isnt that high (when compared to some of my friends). Im still a virgin....Never been with a girl - I just want to know whats happening.

Yes, i've had the exact same thing happen to me. It's like a building pressure in the back of your head and neck, correct? This happened to me a couple of times a couple of years ago when I was either 15 or 16, I can't exactly remember when. The pressured feeling forced me to stop masturbating because it felt like something was going to pop if I didn't stop. I don't know the cause or concequences of this, but there isn't anything wrong with me now because of it. It went away after a few days and I was able to do it without any pain afterwards.

Ow thats good to hear! I hope they go away....But your exactly right....Its like your head is going to "pop" literally.

It hurts bad....And I still have a headache now...

Anybody else wth comments and stuff are really welcome - I need all the support I can get! Its a bit worrying...

Yes, pressure in the neck usually; but not always. It often goes away, but some people do have the problem indefinitely on and off....

Ow thanks for that information on it...Really cleared things up for me.

Yeah I have noticed that sometimes I do get the headaches and sometimes I dont. I feel like I am going to...I stop - simple as that - because I know i'll regret having that pain in my head for hours at end after it.
