I have been having headaches everyday,
they are mostly dull ones. Enough to know
that you're having one. It worries me,
and I have an anxiety disorder to begin
with so these headaches are just adding to
my daily troubles.
I take tylenol es but they have even
stopped working.
I am tired all the time, but I think that
has to do with my medications, I am on an
anti-depressant, beta-blocker, and ativan
s/l. I do not feel like doing anything I
have to fight to do my house work.
If I look outside I start with a headache
or watching television, and driving
especially at night. Those are my
triggers. I am having my eyes tested on
the 5 of january, but I still continue to
worry.
Even reading this over I know I am being
silly but what can I say I am a worrier.
Anyone have headaches all the time? I
have been having them for about a month
now. Could it be my anxiety?

Sharp Pains Posted: 12-27-05 19:21pm
Hi justin I to suffer everyday for over a
month from sharp head pains I also am a
very anxious person and a big
hyperchondriac so imediatly thought it was
a brain tumour, my eye doctor have a real
good look and said everything looked
healthy. But I was still worried so I
booked an emerceny appointment with a
medical nurse who reassured me and said
she felt it was anxiety and stress as the
eye doctor would have reffered me straight
away and my blood and bp tests were
normal. But still sure I was dying I
rushed myself to a and e where another
doctor sat me down had had a really long
chat with me and once again cheaked my
eyes saying everything was fine and it was
just alot of stress. I still get carried
away with the thought i'm dying and daily
get new sytptoms I just have to pinch
myself every now and again and tell myself
it is all stress and anxiety. I'd like to
know how your eye test goes though but
believe my if the eye doctor had any doupt
he'd send you straight to a doctor for
more tests. Best wishes and take care xxx

Eye Strain Posted: 12-27-05 22:12pm
Just to let you know my name is justina...
Lol it is easy to mistake it for justin.
I would have been named that but I came
out a girl.
Anyway, I think I have a lot of eye strain
and the meds that I am taking are
contributing as well as anxiety. But I
still worry, and I will until I know 100%
that I am alright.
Thanks for the reply.
Take care.

Hello, I just think it's crazy how we are
all going through pretty much the same
thing....I have been suffering from
anxiety for about 5 months now and just
about three weeks ago started having
headaches every single day! I even went
to the er one day because I started
feeling extremely lightheaded and
panicked.....They did a ct scan,
everything was fine....I had an mri done
and am waiting on the results. I feel
like I am going crazy thinking that there
is something wrong with me.....But deep
down I know that it's all related to my
anxiety...Ugh anxiety is an awful awful
thing! No medicines work to relieve the
headache, but I did notice that when I
stop thinking about it (just like all
anxiety sensations) they go away for
awhile...Try meditating that seems to help
me out!

Meditating Posted: 12-29-05 09:58am
I will definitely try. It is crazy
though when I entered the forum and read
peoples stories about their anxiety I had
to blink twice because it sounded so much
like myself.
My headaches have subsided somewhat for
the last two days, I have been somewhat
relaxed although today is another story so
I wll have to try the meditating.
Although I have to admit I wouldn't know
how to start.
Thanks for the reply.

You asked me to fill you in on my eye
exam. Well it turns out that I need
glasses. The doc said it most likely has
to do with the medications that I am
taking. But the muscles in my eyes are
slow esp my left eye. When we focus on
something close up our eyes are suppose to
turn inward but mine only turn in half the
way. If that makes sence. My eye
muscles get tired and strained and that is
causing most of my headaches other than
anxiety and other normal triggers.
I get my glasses next week, so hopefully
they work. I am suppose to wear them
while using the computer, reading and
driving because I said when I drive I find
I get headaches esp at night.
Anyways... That is how it went.
The glasses look okay too.
