I had a brief visit from the stomach flu,
and thew up shortly after taking my
birthcontrol last night. How should I go
about taking it today? Like normal, or
should I act as though I missed a pill?
Also, I have questions about when to start
each month. I'm taking mircette. Am I
supposed to just keep on keeping on even
if my period doesn't happen on the same
day each month? Or if it happens early,
am I supposed to ditch the rest of this
months, and start on the next month like I
did the first time?
Does the rule for no sex the first week
start over every month, or is that just
for the first month.
And last, since I didn't "take" last
night's pill, what would I do if I wanted
to have sex later on this week?

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to
continue taking your pill as normal, but
use a backup method for at least seven
days, or maybe even for the rest of your
cycle, just to be on the safe side.
As for when to start each month, yes, keep
the same pill schedule regardless of when
you get your period. And the rule about
backup for the first week is only for your
first pack of pills, as long as you take
all of them on time and have no vomiting
or diarrhea. So if you want to have sex
later this week, use backup :)
