You can't prevent stretch marks, but you can however soften the skin to make it easier for the skin to stretch. Some girls don't get them while others look like road maps. I used cocoa butter!

Best of luck!

I'm doing really good with my stretch marks, I haven't got any.

I've been putting cocoa butter on my belly & sides since I found out i've been pregnant.

just keep in mind that you can get stretch marks almost any where..... Belly, thighs, butt, calves, breasts..... Any where!

You can carry your baby and not get one mark, but the sudden change in weight(birth) can cause stretch marks.

I was also lucky, I don't have many nor dark stretch marks. I love palmers:d

your child is worth it though!

I'm in my second trimester, pregnant with twins, and i'm huge. My half sister says I look like i'm nearly due. I love having a huge tummy, but it is hard. As for stretch marks, I am so far pretty lucky - only a few silvery ones on my sides. Cocoa butter, though. That's always best.

they never go away..... They can lighten to a pink or sliver colour.

A friend of mine had her last baby almost 4 years ago, and her marks are still very red......

If you keep using cocoa butter they'll turn to the color of your skin instead of red/purple etc.

Tanning helps too.
