Q: Literal Lump In Throat

I have a lump in my throat, it looks like it could be just swelling of my tonsils, but its been there for two days, and it feels like a sore throat. What is this? And, will it just go away on its own, or is there something I can take?

Thanks.

Extremely eHealthy
If this lump is still there & you have not seen a dr - get to one now & get someone to give you a kick up the for not going sooner.

Lump In Throat
Hi, I too have a very painful lump in my throat right under my left tonsil. I have had very severe sore throats for the past 9 months, now this. I too feel it as a sore throat on that side only.I went to my doctors and she says that it is a swollen lymph node, but doesnt know what is wrong with me. I'm just curious what your doctor told you. Thanks
