My Boyfriend Has Hypomania,a Form of Bipolar.i Want to Help!

I am so confused! I have been with my boyfriend for 1 year and a half, he is the most sweet and caring person. Up until about 6 months ago he changed. He was always being nasty to me, no one knew what was wrong with him at this time. He used to make out like it was my fault all the time why we were arguing, I believed this because I rely on him as we live together I really didnt want to lose him, he got worse and ended up in hospital because of his bipolar.

I was there for him and he was really grateful for this. He would ring me every day and ask me why I wasnt with him and would I go see him. He ended up being put on some tablets which helped him, he really didnt like to be on these tablets though as he gained weight and couldnt go on his bike or do any of the things he really enjoyed. He got really depressed on these tablets and relyed on me alot. I didnt mind tho as I love him so much, and would do anything for him. He got alot better.

About a week ago, he stopped taking his tablets, I could tell he had as his mood was very different and he started being really nasty again. All my family dont like him, but they dont understand his disorder. He ended up telling me he had cheated on me on his holiday, he was so upset when he was telling me! He didnt want me to be upset and mad. He had his bag packed as he was going to leave and go somewhere far away to get away from all his problems. He ended up being arrested and went on a rampage, he has fallen out with his dad and most of his family.

He went back to the hospital because he got sectioned again, he didnt ring me or his family or anyone. I just want to help him! No one seems to be telling me anything. His dad has been to see him in hospital but the nurses told him that he wasnt there, the doctors dont think he has got a mental problem anymore, now they are saying he has a behavioural problem. I am being left in the dark. Not knowing where he is or how he is.

So now he is in a cell again, waiting to see what is going to happen to him, he might be going to a secure unit quite far away. I dont know what to do, I love him and dont want to lose him. I want to help him but no one seems to be telling me what is happening. He needs to take his tablets to help himself, but only he can do that. He cheated on me, but I want to forgive him and get on with my life with him. Please someone help me. I am so confused. I dont want to spend christmas without him! I want him to get better! I am only 17 and I live on my own, he used to stay with me and get me through it. I need him aswel. I am so alone
