I've had problems with my nose since I was a child, mostly heredetiry, my granny and dad have it. I've never really had a sense of smell.
I occasionally get very bad phlegm because of my nose. Something is weird about the way my sinus is wired and it all goes back into my throat. Currently, i'm finding it difficult to breathe. My nose is stuffed up but my throat feels even more uncomfortable. I can't get any sleep like this, and i'm already a light sleeper.
Some times I have to have a roll of tissue in bed with me and constantly blow my nose, collecting the thrown tissues in the morning. Doctors could never figure out what was wrong...
I had it a month or two back, and it's already returned. I have study to do for college exams and I can't afford to be operated on.
It won't cough up. The only thing that sooths it, for some reason, is this minty tasting 7-up ice. It cuts right through the phlegm, and I have no idea why. Usually coke dissolved the phlegm but I don't have any and it's nowhere near as effective.
What do I do? I also have a (relatively) big white growth on my tonsil. It's really weird. I mean, just one, and it loks like a stalagtite more than a spot. I don't think they're the cause though. My throat is only sore because of a "reverse swalloing" maneuver i've had to come up with toe eject any phlegm at all. It hurts like hell.
Swalloing is very difficult, it seems to want to go up my nose. I'm not sure if that's to do with my reverse swallowing, or the fact that my sinus and throat keep getting confused in their pathways.
I don't know what to do. I'm going to try and book a doctors appointment for friday but I need a way to get through the day and night... Please help.
I don't understand how my body can generate this much mucus. Surely I must be loosing weight by now :/
