Hi pigglet,
yes, in fact in addition to being very anxious, I was very fatigued (weak) and had a lightheadedness/dizziness that lasted over 2 months.
It turns out that it was all psychogenic. Meaning, there's not an organic cause or disease causing these symptoms. The stress in your body is.
In addition on having neuromuscular therapy, reducing stress and changing my eating habits (certain types of food cause anxiety) I recently went to see a psychologist.
The effect of psychotherapy in people with anxiety is tremendous. It's all about treating the root of all your problems. In my case, even though I was lightheaded and wear, I was told I had nothing, it was all in my head. (the symptoms were there, caused by my extreme worrying).
I started walking the next day, at a slow pace. It's been 2 weeks now and I am in much better shape. The lightheadedness stayed, but it's now down about 85%.
Which means that I am no longer fatigued, and only 15% lightheaded.. And confident that it will go away in the long run.
So don't fret about your symptoms, because it's nothing serious. People with anxiety should never let these things interfere with life. I spent 2 months worrying and decided to put and end to it. Recovery has been slow, but worth it.
