Q: Safe Sex W/ Ortho Low Sugar Pills??

I just started the pill last month (switched from patch), and i'm home for winter break from college and I finally get to see my boyfriend of 2 years again :d

so, i'm wondering if it's safe to have sex while i'm on the sugar pill week? (when i'm not bleeding)

oh, i'm on ortho lo by the way

I would ask a doctor but im on microgyon 30 and I take pills for 21 days and then have a week break...The doc sed 2 me if I take all 21 correctly im safe for the withdrawal week. I would ask but im sure its the same

Extremely eHealthy

Some women do not bleed during their placebo week, it is not common, but certianly not abnormal by any means. You are protected as long as you have been taking your pills correctly, and you start taking your next pack when you are scheduled to do so.
