Went to the gi doc and he said "gb has got
to go today!!!!!!!!!!!"
well they roll me into the op room and
place a gas mask over me. I am in
somewhat of a stupor : but not totally
under!!!!!! They start to cut on me and I
can feel it but I am unde enough that I
can't let em know!!!!!!!!!!! I am in a
rage!!!!!!!!!! After an hour of the worst
pain of my life, they finally give me a
pain pill and an hour later they wake me
out of my "so called deep sleep"
the nurse asks me how I felt, and I told
her and she busted into tears. They
immediately tranferred me to the mental
hospital on turbuss road. From there I
have been in extensive psychothrerpy and
have been put on five differnt mental
meds. I have been told I can't leave for
another six months. If left unattended, I
could go into a seveve relaspe of shock
and post traumatic shock or disorder.
They say that this happens to 30% of
patients who undergo surgery.
What do I do?
Maybe I can now go get a latte and read my
newspaper and think about how awful of a
person I am to "yank" your chain like
this. My imagination is bad folks...How
can I seriously undergo surgery w/ it?
Yes, yes this was all made up and
fortunaely none of it is
true...Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would discuss your fears with your
surgeon. I had fears of my own before
surgery. Being put under made me very
nervous. He explained things to me &
I felt reassured. The surgery all
though not fun, was not that bad. Things
are never as bad as we imagine.
