:? Hello. I have some pretty bad food allergies. For the past couple of years I have developed anxiety. I won't try foods that I don't know that i'm allergic to...I don't like taking medicines that I don't know i'm not allergic to. I'm so afraid that i'll have an allergic reaction to it and go into anaphalactic* shock. When I do try something new, I get so worried that my mind makes my body think i'm having trouble breathing. Anyone else ever been through this? Thanks

I have had pretty bad anxiety for just over 3 years now and I know exactly what you mean! I also do the same thing everytime I take new meds even when the doctor says it's ok. I think the best thing for you to do is talk to your doctor and or research what you are about to take or eat. I know it sounds like a lot of work but it can be done. Trust your doctor and just try not to think about. I know that can be a hard thing but I have found a lot of my stress came from overthinking everything I was doing.
