Q: Diarrhea After Taking the Pill?

My girlfriend is currently on allese and always takes it around 12:20am. We also had sex without using any other method other than the pill.

However I believe she has come down with the flu (three other household family members currently have it.)

anyways, around 3:00am - 3:30am (est. Three hours after the pill) she had severe diarrhea. Around 5:30 am she vomited a few times until she vomited one last time at 7:00am.

I spoke with a pharmacist, and he said not to take a second pill, as most of the pill should have been absorbed. I believe there is generally a two hour period after taking the pill where if anything were to happen it would be of concern.

Anything I should be doing or be concerned with? If I were to have sex tonight... Do I need to use a back up method?
