12 yr old son left lower side pain and
thru middle of belly above his belly
button
his left ear is bright red but he has no
fever
he feels really bad but isn't crying
he threw up about an hr (? Ago )

Right side is appendix. I have no idea
what it might be. Just make sure he
doesnt get too dehydrated. Plenty of
clear fluids. Watch for fever, and dont
let him stay with pain too long before
going to the dr or er.

Hi, it could be one of two things...
Least inmortant thing is gas...Try giving
him something for gas like immodium or
maloxx maxx. If the pain is persistant,
go to the er immediately. It could be
spleen..If spleen, then it could be a life
or death situation, but if he is not
showing too much discomfot, then it is
more than likely gas...Gas can cause a
whole slew of pain and problems

It could well be just a bug. If his
stomach pain gets worse, then it certainly
is worth calling the dr for advice
