I am only 26 yrs old and I have been having some blood pressure problems. My blood pressure on average has been around 145/90, and my heart rate has been on average 95-100 bpm.. What do I need to do? I also have tmj.. I dont know if the two are connected but who knows? Thanks

i am 32 and having the same problems ... Except for the thj thing as I don't know what that is ;)

my dr told me to try to loose a few pounds and cut back on my salt/sodium intake. My feet have been swelling some too and more so when I work out (go figure) so my dr said I could try yoga or swimming to start.

I do need to loose some weight but I am not obese so I didn't think i'd have to worry about this kind of thing, at least not yet. But both my parents have high blood pressure and I have been stressed alot so that just adds to the risk.

Anyway, I wish the best for you.

Hi

you need to cut out all caffeine-i also had a high heart rate-like yours (in the 100's)-it took about a month and half but now my heart rate is in the 80's and when i'm resting it's in the 70's. It will be hard but it does work and you slowly get use to feeling good without that drug. You need to change your diet too. I don't know what it is but your too young for these problems and they tend to worse with age.

I suggest going to see a nutritionist but if you can't I am reading the china study (it just came out) and it talks about how food tends to be the problem with our health (cancer, heart attacks and stroke) how to cut out all animal source foods-

take things one day at a time but move forward and you'll be fine
