Is My Leg Pain Associated With My Lungs?? Posted: 12-18-03 17:16pm
I recently had sinus surgery and a
tonsilectomy at the same time at the mayo
clinic. While in the hospital I was
checked for blood clots in my legs b/c
they hurt sooooo bad. The test came back
negative but, this week I have been very
sick with bronchitis and a cold. I've
been taking about 3-4 breathing treatments
a day (which I know is too much!) and
today, my calve is hurting terribly! In
a weird sorta way (instinctly) I feel that
I have something wrong with my lungs
(other than asthma). Especially since my
ent said that my sinus disease has
contaminated my lungs. I'm wondering if
my calves hurting is a sign that these two
may be related or point towards a more
severe problem. Problem being that I
lost my med. Insurance this month and
won't have it back for about another month
or two. Should I be concerned about the
pain in my calve while i'm having so much
trouble with my asthma? Are they
related?
