Trying to Help Mum

Hi

i am writing on behalf of my mum who has very bad rheumatoid arthritis. She has a carer but mum is 80 and still tries to help herself as much as she can. Her carer is due at 8am and at 7.55am mum goes in for a shower but can't towel herself dry so if her carer is late mum is left wet. We have begged her to wait for her carer to arrive before taking a shower but she just won't listen and to be honset I respect her for doing what she does, she needs to be helping herself and she is trying her best.

Here is my question

if mum is wet and the carer is late would a good quality toweling bathrobe help her to get dry? Remember she can't dry herself because she can't hold a towel but she could put a bathrobe on. If this would help her I would get one for her tomorrow but I need some advice please

thanks in advance

Yes, I think it would help her a lot, as long as she can hold it and put it on her shoulders. They are kinda heavy and if it is wet it would be even more heavy.
