Q: Can Eye Colour Change Over Time? Is It a Illness?

I would like to ask a question regarding the altering of the
eye's colour over time.

The same thing has happened to my mother but she hasnt looked into it as I am now.
Most people laugh at my claim so here goes:
i am now 24 years old and my eyes from brown are slowly changing to green.
About 60% from the left one starting from the outer part to the center is green and on the right eye about 50% is green. The center on both is brown.
My mothers eyes are now green and they were brown too when she was in here 20ies.

Is this a illness or something normal? Most people have no clue so I would like your opinions on this.

Thanks again for your prompt reply

Changing Eye Color
I was born with medium brown colored eyes....When I was about 14 they began to change to hazel, then to green a few years later...My older brother also experienced a change to alighter yellowish color..My mother and aunt both have eyes that change from blue to green, or from blue to an ice colored blue..I believe it runs in families...And is just a natural progression...Please let me know if you hear anything otherwise
