Hi,

for two months now I have had some gastric problems. Have been taking medicine but still not going well or healing is just taking forever.... My doctor gave me first ranitidine and then I was tested for h. Pylori and was positive, took antibiotics and pantoprazole. It seemed to get better, but suddenyl it just got really bad... I phoned my doctor again and she prescribed more pantoprazole and told me to wait until january (3 more weeks).
It started as bloating and a dull pain all over my stomach, but then after the antibiotics it got really bad after I had a meal at a restaurant, two days lated I was having a stabbing pain in the middle of my stomach, now with the use of pantoprazole is getting better again but I also changed my diet compleltey, very healthy stuff now, vegetables and no artifical or precessed sugar, salt or fat. Cannot eat large meals, feel full immediately. Cannot eat spicy food, fatty, or the like... Just cant, too much pain or disconfort.

I jus realized im a hyponchondriac and just spend to much time thinking that it could be the worse: cancer. Im just overly concerned with this. It is affecting my life completely. I dont sleep, cannot study because im thinkiing all the time about this.

Anyone with similar problems? How long does it take to heal? Do I need and endoscopy? Or biopsy or something>?
