Q: a Question About Cleanliness...

I am 18, I have had sex 4 times, all with teh same person, and she was a virgin.

Over the past month, I have noticed an incredible build up of smegma around my penis. I am a very clean person, and shower at least once a day, and every time I shower I wash my penis thoroughly.

However, within just 2-3 hours of showering, my penis will either have visible build up of smegma on it, or if I rub the head at all, it all builds up.

Does anyone know what this could be? I can't imagine how it could possibly be an std because, as I said, I have only had sex with one person and we were both virgins.

So again, does anyone have any idea what this could be? Is there a remedy?

sorry, I am just really worried. I know there's probably no reason to be, but I am a very paranoid person.

I wouldn't worry about it. You are probably just having a natural increase in the amount of smegma. Could be natural, or it could be from it being to damp. Be sure to dry it thoroughly and you might try putting some baby powder or the like on it to help keep the skin a little drier.

just wanted to say thanks.

I applied a bit of baby powder last night, and when I got up this morning everything was fine.

It must be that I just need to keep it drier.

Thanks so much.

any chance you can get some information to back this up?

Btw, there is still a little bit of build up, but nothing like before. The problem is that my penis is almost never dry...I sweat a lot, so it is always damp down there.

be sure to shower very often; expecially after any exercise. I'm assuming you're uncut, so it will never go completely away, but it will help. When it gets bad, or you want it dry, just use some of the powder.
