I was hoping that I was pregnant but the test told me no, I am 9 days late for my period, so I took a test yesterday. I didn't think that I was but I have been trying to have #2 since december 04. I have had 2 m/c's since then, and I am really starting to worry that I can't have anymore kids, and I was so hoping for another one. And what is worse, with all the problems that I have been having lately I seem to be experiencing some if not all of the symptoms that I am going through menapause. I am only 24, now everyone around me says that it is not possible but even the though of it scares me.

When I was 16 I had my first daughter.. I vomited once and was having really bad stomach cramps and couldnt breathe.. My mom asked if I could be pregnant and I told her that there is no way.. So my boyfriend (now husband) took me to urgent care where they gave me a pregnancy test, drew some blood and did other tests..The tests all came back negative so they sent me in for laproscopic surgery.. When I woke up they told me that I had appendicitis so they removed my appendix.. The next month I didnt get my next period.. I asked my mom if surgery would have screwed anything up and she said maybe, so we waited another month and still no period.. I took a home pregnancy test to find out that sure enough I was pregnant.. Here when the doctors tested me with their tests they said nope no pregnancy to find out that I really was.. So just a heads up, dont always trust your first test results.. Hope this helps you!

I'm so sorry to hear that jenn!

How old is your child? Did he/she know that you were pregnant and if so how did he/she deal with the loss?

are you saying they did a blood pregnancy test and told you that you were not pregnant, but to find out you really were? I find this hard to believe. Blood tests don't mistake.

Went to the Dr
Posted: 12-18-05 05:39am

Well I went to see my Dr. And he did another pg test there, and it was negative, he told me that 3 negs, means that I am prob not pg :( I was hoping would have been a wonderful christmas present for me. Although he said that if I still didnt get one in two weeks to go back and see him, and he would do another. I am worried becuase this is what happened the first time I miscarried, I got my last period august 1st 04 and didnt get a positive pg result until end of november 04. Then I miscarried in dec. Dr also said that my periods have been regular and then I missed this one, so maybe I skipped and ovulation cycle, I have never heard of this and wonder if this means I could be losing my fertility. Does anyone know if it normal to miss ovulating??? Very confused and scared I want another baby!
