The only way it can be spread hiv is if bodily fluids of an infected person come in direct contact with your bodily fluids, going right into your bloodstream. While a suppose it could happen, the chances are so slim, that it likely wouldn't.

you are pretty much gauranteed safe. Saliva does not carry enough of the virus to be transmitted easily in that way. You would quite literally have to drink several gallons of the infected person's saliva .A.N.D have a cut or sore in your mouth or throat to even have a chance of contracting it.

The only way that I have even heard of hiv spreading through the eye is if there is a slight cut or tear in the cornea and a large amount of blood is sprayed into the eye. Still, the chances of contracting hiv even when there's blood present and it gets in your eye is very, very, very, very slim.

You're fine. However, if you are worried about it or if you are having any kind of sex with the person who is hiv+, then go get tested. You should get tested anyway, everyone should. I'm married and monogamous with my husband only and we were both tested before getting married and I still go and get tested every six months. Anything can happen from a car accident to scrapes and scratches and since my husband works for the prison system, we don't take any chances. Everyone go and get tested regularly, practice safe sex, and try not to handle another person's blood without covering your skin and wearing a face mask.
Peace,
jenn

If the eye were bleeding, and you had open sore in your mouth, you could possibly get hiv from kissing his eye.

The lips just touched on eye once accidentally. Suppose it's not a true kissing.

You are fine. If only saliva was present, there isn't a chance you'll have any hiv exposure.

I will say, however, that the eyeball is a mucousal membrane and is able to absorb the virus - this has been known, rarely and unfortunately, to happen to medical professionals who have positive blood squirt into their eye during a medical procedure. The eye doesn't have to be cut. But don't let that worry you, because it is a totally different scenario.
