Look at these sites:

http://www.Global-vision.Org/interview/per ry.Html
http://www.Pbs.Org/wnet/brain/episode3/cul tures/

if the first one doesn't work go to http://www.Psychforums.Com/forums/viewtopi c.Php?T=3604&postdays=0&postorder= asc&start=0

if it still doesn't work go to yahoo and search schizophrenia. Look for address and it is in the first page in the bottom. Very interesting.

If you have problems coping with it, there's always medication to quiet it down. Nobody knows for sure if it will go away. There is a chance it might and all you have to do is ride it out. It will help if you avoid negative activities, stress, anxiety...

Medication should be the last thing you should try. Side effects can be damaging.

Extremely eHealthy
I dont think everyone who hears voices is schizophrenic. There are all kinds of voices in the world today. From the good side as well as the dark side. We sometimes hear the voice of another man's heart. Angels speak, and .Jesus also speaks to us. But anything that is contrary to goodness, life, love and joy. Should be rebuked and cast down(cast out) in .Jesus name. (unless it is a warning we have received for ourselves or another man)

i am sorry you are going thru this, but the mind is the most powerful thing in our body. If we believe the bad voices our body in turn will begin to bear the burden of the negative things we take in. We become what we believe. So if you need meds to help you with that then so be it.

Be careful with pills. They could be demaging on the brain. Maybe what you're experiencing is not sz but only psychosis. It might go away on its own .

The best cure for schizophrenia is time. Antipsychotic drugs will reshape your brain and only mask the problem. In the later stage, your brain will get use to it and it will not work anymore and you will get full blown psychosis. Doctors will then solve the problem with another drug which again is stupid. This will go on until there are no more drugs out and you will get screwed. Also you will have permanent side effects. I say be brave and tackle it at the beginning before using drugs. Studies have shown that you can recover from schizophrenia without using medication. It takes patience. Here is an article of someone who has recovered from it. Schizophrenia is not a mental disease.

What is with this forum? It seems to promote people not taking their prescribed medication. Why csan't you all see that medication does help.

Is this forum not moderated?

Maybe some medication will help, but it's not like the first time doctors prescribe drugs who literally medical question people up.
I agree it's the last thing you should try, if nothing else works then ofcourse medication is the last hope.
Starting with popping pills everyday sounds too dumb

I Have Found a Solution to Stop Auditory Hallucinations
I have time trialed and have found what I believe although a liability to psychiatrists due to lack of governmental study of the drug on patients with schizophrenia an 8 to ten hour solution to the psychosis of auditory hallucination.....Let's just say that once a mild tolerance is achieved the drug dextromethorphan even in small doses eliminates the auditory factor of the affliction. If even for the short amount of time listed above if you are a schizphrenic imagine what silence could be like....Thanks for listening.

Re: Whats the Solution to Schizophrenia?
There are several options for this disorder. Personally I believe the best way to manage the symptoms is with pills. I have two brothers, 26 and 21 with this disease. One refused all treatment and the other takes his pills. Needless to say the one in compliance is doing a whole lot better, while the other is worsening. All medications have side effects. Even over the counter stuff. You have to take charge of your life and do what's best and works for you. Exhaust all your options. With regards to others replies, taking medication is ones choice. It should be a choice made after realizing trying to manage it on your own worsens your state of mind and secludes you from society. This can be extremely cripleling to your basic human functions. Have faith in yourself and believe their is a higher being who sees and feels your hurt. don't be afraid to discuss your thoughts with those who may be willing to help. Trust me, I know this can take over your life. I've seen this at it's scariest stage. Seek a specialist that demonstates he/she really cares to help you from their humane side and not solely for money. So I say to you my dear, the solution is to sacrafice your fears in exchange for peace. Good luck and peace be with you!

Re: Whats the Solution to Schizophrenia?
Actually, I have fighted with them using my imagination. At first, they were about 7 voices. They looked like demons to me, and they kept attacking me all the time. I have tried to use my imagination to let them fight with each other or even let them destroy themselves. This is a long story to tell how do I fight with them. I can fight with them because the key is wherever I look at, they be there right at my focus. For example, I can destroy them (the demon's shape) by throwing them into the wheel of a running car. This is just one of my example how to fight with them. But it's not easy to kill them. I have so many different technics to fight with them...
I wish I can write more and more to tell people how to fight with them, but I have no time yet. After 2 years of fighting, I could not see they appeared with a complete form anymore.
After 2 years, now there is only 2 voices left over... I now hard to fight with them because I don't see them anymore. I am begin ignoring them and taking medication, I have a good job. I am now can concentrate, and I can work every well too. I don't hear them that often, and they can't attack me anymore.
So, my point is that if you don't know how to fight them, then the best solution is to ignore them.
In my own opinion, there is something invisible that exists around me. I am a very sensitive person and because when I got so much depression, somehow they (demons) pocess into my body. They (the demons) are invisible and belong to a super sensitive world. Somehow, my body's sensitive frequency reaches their sensitive frequency, then I can hear and see them but no one else can.
After years of experience, I think I now understand why I can hear and see them, but noone else can hear or see what I feel.
I don't want to say that my solution is the best but at least it works for me.

henry you are correct! This to me must mean your a person whom God may have a higher purpose for! If you can see demons and fight them off, they must fear the power you possess within, therefore they try to destroy you from inside. You did not let them beat you and I'm happy for you! Continue your battle because you will prevail!

Cure to Schizophrenia
The cure deals with what telepathy is and isn't, also how to regain control over yourself. Telepathy is of the mind (thoughts) not feelings feelings are just what you feel and cannot be felt by another person even if you feel that way. Also you must know what you soul is: who you believe yourself to be in your heart, once you get in touch and stay in touch with your soul and know nobody else can know that you will be pretty much well

Re: Whats the Solution to Schizophrenia?
hi qbabymonkey,
Thanks for your reply and for questioning. When I hear the voice and see thing, I know that no one else can hear or see them. Let me explain how can I hear them. Let say that the invisible thing is embedded (possessed) in my body, in my ears, in my head. The voice belonging to the invisible thing (invisible media) creates some frequence of waves when they talk, so I can hear them but no one else can hear. Same thing for vision and feeling. How do I know they still around me or feel an invisible touch. The thing is that I got embedded (possessed) by the invisible thing. When the invisible thing moving or touching me, they actually touch their invisible media, and again because I got embedded with the invisible thing in my body, that creates some forces that make me feel they touch me right at that spot. That's why I can tell they touch me on my shoulder sometimes in the past with an invisible hand. Moreover, I can fight with them because they form wherever I focus my eyes with imagination. I know it's difficult to explain, but that is what I have experience with. However, I don't refuse to take medication. Medication for this kind of "schizophenia" helps me to calm down, less fear, focus, and make me feel good in good mood all time. But medication can NOT remove the invisible thing. I hope that answer your questions.
