So, I got sick almost two months ago. Thought it was just a bad flu or cold. It took a while to get over and then left me with a lingering cough and stuffy nose (which is typical). But since then I keep feeling like i'm getting sick again every week. My nose is severely congested and runny, I sneeze and my throat is really scratchy, and I have a cough and am coughing up yellow stuff. I went to the Dr. Last week and he gave me antibiotics and nasal spray (steroid) but I feel like crap again. Am I getting a new cold every week or is this allergies? I'm miserable and just wish there was an explanation. The Dr. Said that this time of year there aren't many outdoor allergens that are active (in northern cali) but I have indoor allergies too. What is causing this? Has anyone else experienced this chronic sickness due to allergies? What did you do?

Yellow means infection is what I thought and i'm having the same problem. You have just got to find the right antibiotic, viruses and bacteria evolve rapidly so they are immune to certain antibiotics. If antibiotics havnt helped in like 3 days then it isnt going to work. We get ours from mexico when my parents go on vacation, because you can buy any antibiotic over the counter without a prescription at a cheap price. If you check back to your doctor then they would probably know to get you a different antibiotic. I keep coughing so bad that I eventually get on the brink of throwing up, but I barely fight it off every time. I'm not sure but I think its bronchitis. Does anyone have the same problem after working in tobacco? Because I think thats where I got it.
