Q: Headaches Everyday!!!

For the past year or two, maybe more, i've been getting headaches a lot. This year it's been like basically everyday. I wake up with a headache, then it just gets worse through out the day. I've taken medicine in morning but doesnt help. I've tried sinus headache, tension headache pills. I've even tried caffeine pills seeing if I was in withdrawl from pepsi. I take naps after school, but that doesn't help, it just makes me feel drowsy. I get enough sleep, and I eat enough. I eat all 3 meals. Even I ate a lot on pizza day, 4pieces, I still got one. These headaches feel so bad sometimes, like a ring around my head. Most of the pain is above my eyes. I've even went to get glasses, no help. I've went home a few times cuz they got so bad. I dont feel like going to the doctor's cuz I dont want to get some crap and have to keep going back. Thanks guys for reading this.

Re to Headeaches Every Day.
I know how annoying doctors are, but you should really be seen.
I don't know how old you are, good for you you didn't say how old you are, but my 13 year old brother did the same thing. He was always real active or so we thought, but he just couldn't shake these headaches. He had high blood pressure from a defective valve in his heart. He did have to have heart surgery, but he is doing great now! He feels better than he has ever felt in his life. My advice to you would be to talk openly (if you can) with your parents, and then go see a doctor that you like.
Good luck, and best wishes for a pain free new year.

I Agree...
I think that you need to see a doctor. There may be something serious wrong..... Pain is your bodys way of talking to you...Please listen to it and get seen. I get migrains and know how bad they can leave you feeling... But I cant imagine not going, and finding out down the line that something serious is wrong, and that things could be prevented...

Hope you feel better... Crying or Very sad

Have your ever been to a chiropractor? I have suffered my entire life from headaches (and migraines). The one thing that has helped the most is getting my neck and back adjusted by a chiropractor. I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding chiropracts right now, but look for a doctor who uses the "activator" method. The doctor then uses a small springloaded pen like device that applies a controlled pressure to the area that needs adjusting. A good chiropractor will explain as s/he goes. Give it shot! My Dr. Has saved me months of pain and thousands of pills.
