How long have you been trying?

Your situation sounds like mine 4 years ago. I had my first when I was 18, married at 19. We started trying a month before we married and we didn't succeed for 15 months. I had multiple test done, and in the end I found out that my tubes were blocked.....Have you seen your doctor?

About 2-3 months.. We just got married nov. 19 but have been trying since before then. I am 19 now.. I havent seen my doctor only because up until the wedding I did not have insurance and couldnt afford it.. I am sure that we will end up pregnant eventually, its just a matter of timing I guess.. Thanks for your input it helps to have someone to talk to

We did a lot of moving the last 4 months so my period would come every month, it just didnt come the same time of month every time.. Now for the last 2 months they have been regular.. I just wish that it would happen sooner.. We are ready to increase the size of our family.. :)

The most beautiful baby we could make..!! And now she is almost 3 and we just really want to finish having kids while we are young so we are not 60 yrs old when our youngest is 18.. Lol thank you for your help!!

Hello! The best time to conceive is around the 14th day of your cycle this is roughly when you ovulate. 3 months really isnt that long but I know how frustrating it is! We are trying for our third baby, dont know if this was any help but good luck to you!

The day your period starts is day one, so its roughly 14 days after that. You can buy tests in the chemist that can tell you when you are ovulating if you are not sure. Just keep trying around this time! Wishing you the best of luck! Let me know how it goes. :)

Tip
If you take robitussin (plain) it will thin all of your mucus , including your cervical mucas . I would take it right before and during ovulation, at least a half hour to and hour before sex. It can help those spermies swim!

And dont worry, 2-3 months isnt bad. Did you know that an average fertile couple ttc only has about a 20-30% chance each month of conceiving??! So try to relax, it will happen!

Hi lilypad, thanks for the tips.
Is that the cough syrup that you are referring to?
I am having problem trying to detect if I am ovaluating or not. I checked my mucus on the 14th day onwards and have varying results. It is always pretty dry. The test kits are always negative. Can you explain the reason?

yes the plain robitussin it thins out all secretions even though its mainly used for a stuffy nose. Cant hurt. Also drinking plenty of water is good. But avoid lubs they can harm sperm unless its a special kind
