Almost always, it seems that I only get
bloated while at work. I have an office
job and spend the majority of my time
sitting at my desk. When I get up in the
mornings I am fine. But almost like
clockwork, when mid-morning hits, I start
to get bloated and it stays around until
the end of the day. It is very
uncomfortable. However, it seems to
subside quite a bit, if not totally, once
I get home, change my clothes, and relax.
I also have constipation off and on, and a
little gas throughout the day. I also
notice that when I am bloated I tend to
have to urinate more frequently.
I have had this bloating, gas,
constipation problem since last spring.
When I went to the doc he ruled out
lactose intolerance and decided it was
ibs.
Does this sound like ibs? Can it occur
only at certain times during the day and
then subside? I don't really have any
pain, mostly just discomfort. Although
last week I did have some cramping/aching
in my lower back.
I started taking a low dose of elavil (for
vaginal pain) about 6 months ago and it
seemed to help my symptoms. I quit taking
it for about a month and since then my
problems have been back and I started
taking it again about a week ago.
I haven't found any specific foods that
seem to be triggers, although I have
noticed that sometimes after eating steak
I have an urge to have a bm. When this
happens it usually occurs within about 20
min. After eating. But it doesn't happen
all the time either.
Please help! Does this sound like ibs or
could it be something else?
Thank you!

Hi there,
i had the same problem. I was very bloted
and extreamey crampy.
I had a stomach scan done and there was no
leaking og the gut. But I was sure I had
ibs. So what I did I bought a product at
my heath food store called ibs cleanse.
It is all natural. What is dose it repair
the gut lining and remove the bad bactiria
from you gut. I have to say I the last
month I feel awsome. No more cramps
consipation or bloting. After a month on
this follow up with remedie to keep you
regular:
use pyhilliam husk it is a natural
soulubal fiber. Take it one a day (a tsp
with a big glass of water) it will keep
you from getting constipated. You can get
it at the bulk food store or a heath
store.

I seem to have simular problems...In my
case I find that i'm just nervious about
one thing or another...Even if I don't
feel like i'm nervious, I usually am.
Try being as out going as possible see if
that helps.
