Ive been getting my period 2-3 times a month for the past 2 months or so. I was just wondering if anyone had the same problem and what they did or if anyone knows anything about it.

Hi
Oohhhh, that does not sound good, how old are you? I have irregular periods sometimes, but my periods are not that close together, you defantly need to see your obgyn for sure, you need to be checked out for indometriosis , and do all blood work on you, my mother had periods like yours , she was having a period 2 times a week for a every month, had it turned out that she had endometrosis, yes please see a doctor, I can imagine how cranky you must feel every time, but know its not normal to have that many periods, my thriod is up so I have irregular periods, but my periods were like they would get 2 weeks late or something like that. But in my case it was my thyriod doing it, yes please go see a doctor as soon as you can.... From hotty

Irregular Cycle
I'm no doctor so I couldn't say if this is you but I had a regular cycle for 17 years - every 29 days - and then I developed hypothyroid and now every 20-35 days. Just a thought - something to look into to...I know more than once a month is a pain!

Jackie, did the doctor give you any kind of test? Also, if you don't mind my asking, were you on the pill before your last pregnancy?

To tasha82,
the only test the doctor was a sonogram to make sure my unterus was ok and there was no damage after my sergery, the doctor tried the pill for a couple months that did not work so she wanted me to stop them.

I am having irregular periods really ever since ive been off bc which has been about a year so I know the feeling. I just went to the gyno and told her about it but I also have white discharge from my breast and she said that she thinks it could be my thyroid but she is sending me to a specialist jsut to make sure. I hope that im am able to have babies when I want to without having to worry about fertility problems because if it, does anyone have info on that?
