Well today december 12th was my due date. Some of you already know I lost him at 5 months due to an umbilical cord accident. I am just thinking alot about him today and hoping he is with his great grandparents in heaven.
We lost joseph in july and I was really hoping I would be pregnant again by now. My next period is due on december 16th and I really hope I dont get it!!
Send some baby dust my way please!

I am sooo sorry - I didn't know about that. Well, I lost my mom almost 9 months ago now, so, if it makes you feel better, I am sure that my mom is with him right now - and she's the best in the world!!! She used to be a teacher (kindergarten up to grade 7) - she is sooo good with babies/kids.

Also, if it makes you feel better too - my mom had a miscarriage at 5mths and she was able to have kids after - i'm living proof of that!!!

I know you're at a sad time right now, but you'll have healthy children, very soon!!!

All the best to you and lots of baby dust to you!!

This hit really close to home. My uncle joseph was born on dec 12th at 10:16am 50 years ago. He died the same day the next year of a heart condition. 28 years later I was born on dec 12th at 10:17 am. My birthday is bittersweet. Losing a baby is extremely hard. I will pray for you and your family.

Thank you both so much for the encouraging words. Sometimes bad things happen and they just dont make any sense. I am just still trying to trust that this is all a part of gods plan for me somehow and that some good will come out of it one day. Thank you all so so much, it means alot.

You are very welcome - you will get your stength back in time, g-d works in mysterious ways, you may not have any clue why that happened, but in the short or long run, you will one day find out, and it is for the best (even though that sounds horrible to say right now - but having faith will help you to overcome this).

The miscarriage my mom had at 5 mths was also a boy - he actually would have been mentally handicapped (severely), if that hadn't happened, so even though it was very difficult for my mom (and dad), it really was much better off for both that child and my parents.

Having a miscarriage or still born, as difficult as it is for the mother (& father), is natures way (g-d's way) to make sure you have healthy babies, and you will - don 't you worry!!! Like I said, my mom had very healthy babies after that one. It is actually not that uncommon for women to have miscarriages on their first attempt. I am sure your gyn or md told you that.

Please, keep your faith, we're all here in your corner for you!!!

Well its hard to remember now, lol but I think we were trying sort of for about six months then I gave up and went on the pill for two months, then my friend got pregnant so I decided to try again, and got pregnant that very first month I was off bc. Now well we lost our baby in july, and started trying aagin in sept so this time around I guess its been about four-five months....Although lately I havent been quite as obssessed, I am begining to relax a little more about it and I kinda am just gonna let it happen when it happens, im not charting basal body temp anymore or anything. But I can usually feel when im ovulating, always around 2 weeks before my period is due I get cramping in one side or the other and it lasts for about an hour. So when I feel that I make sure we "do the baby dance"
ill definately let everybody know if and when I get pregnant again.

Lilypad,
don't give up. I think it should be quite easy for you to be preggie cos you had been preg before. At least, one certainty is that you don't have any medical problems, unlike me. Baby dust to you....
