Q: Pregnant Or Not?

Hi, I have been with my boyfriend for 14 months. And we always have unprotected sex. I have been on the pill for a little over a year and I usually don't miss any pills. This past month I have missed quite a few pills and I have been bleeding. I can tell it's not my period because it's very dark blood and it goes away and then comes back. Like in the mornings it won't be there but towards the end of the day there will be some in my underwear or when I wipe, and it's not really heavy. And also when we have sex there is no blood. But i'm supposed to have my period this week. I have been feeling very sick to my stomach, urinating a lot, tired, and bad stomach and back cramps, eating a lot and gained weight in my lower stomach. Last month I really felt like I was pregnant and took a home preg. Test and it was negative. Should I take another one? Is bleeding a sign of pregnancy? Help someone Smile

Take another one in a few days. Because you messed up on your pill, it messes up your period. And since youve taken it for over a year, it should still have the effect to cover you for a little while, at least the month you got off. You should get on it again though. If you are still worried, take another one. But I think its because you got off the birth control.

When I skipped my pills, I would bleed very heavily. This was actually why I came off the pill because I was very inconsistent and it was causing huge problems with my period.

Please see a doctor if you are unsure if you're pregnant ir not. A lot of women have unusual bleeding when they have a miscarriage, and sometimes women just think that they have had multiple periods in a month, when it was really a miscarriage, and they never even knew they were pregnant. Please use a condom along with the pill if you do not want a baby. There are so many unwanted children out there, and it's sad because there are so many people who want to have a baby of their own, and can't conceive. If you do want a baby, and are ready for one, good luck, and best wishes.
