When you guys read my history, please keep in mind whether hernia could have caused my problems!!1

hey guys I have been suffering from varicocele for about 4 years. My problem is that I dont have a good healthy blood flow to the testicles.
When I turned 15 I remember feeling a dull ache in my scrotum. Since then I have had testicular problems. Recently I was diagnosed with varicocele. Three weeks ago I had a bilateral left sided varicocele embolization done about three weeks ago. It greatly improved matters, as the varicocele was reduced by about 75 percent, and my testiscles felt very full. However, four nights later, whilst sitting in a comfy chair, I got a shooting pain in the right hand area of my groin above the puncture site. I went to sleep and since then I have been feeling pretty odd. I get on off shooting pains in my groin, on both the right and left side, and more worryingly it has spread to the top of my leg a little. More over, it is effecting my testicular health, as towards the end of the day, my balls go from full to atrophied. I am half way through a course of anti-biotics, but the only thing which relieves the pain are anti-inflamatories and arnica tablets. Im getting pretty worried. I assumed it was an infection but it could be something else.... Like a hernia, caused by the embolization.
More over I am wondering if hernia might have caused the varicocele in the first place

any ideas. I get a lot of pins and needles in that region, and it really feels like im not getting enough blood.

I think you should really go and consult a doctor about that, maybe the surgeon who did your operation. You need a proper diagnosis and someone will have to have a look at that in order to do so.
Hope you get better soon and that the pain goes away, that really sounds quite bad.
Take care,
lena

Yes it does sound serious, I think you should go back to the dr, or atleast call him and tell him.
