Hi there,

i recently went to the doctor after having issues with my left nasal passage. It's continually blocked, I often smell blood and sometimes hear/feel a popping sensation within my left nostril.

The doctor informed me that I have a deviated septum, and performed a ct scan to see if any other issues are brewing (as he couldn't see behind the deviation). I don't yet have the results of the ct scan, but will post them when I know.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this, or if there's any information available about the blood smell & popping sensation (within the nostril). Thanks for any help/info. That can be given.

As far as meds are concerned, i'm on levoxyl (.137mg, for hypothyroidism), novolog (via insulin pump, for type I diabetes), and mavik (2mg - low dose, as a prophylaxis ace inhibitor). I don't have high blood pressure and never have, but have had type I diabetes for almost 24 years. I hope this information helps, and again, I appreciate any suggestions/ideas on this. :)

sincerely,
leeloo
