How Long Should I Wait to Go to the Doctor Posted: 12-09-05 09:58am
Hey! I'm new to the boards. I have had
a cold for a week now. I'm not even sure
exactly when it started. On sunday, I
started coughing so hard that I was
throwing up. From sunday until about
tuesday it continued to worsen. I think
tuesday night was the worse of it as far
as how I feel. One of my symptoms, a bad
headache has been better on wednesday and
thursday. My cough is not really any
worse than it was on tuesday, but it is
not really much better and my wife thinks
I should go to the doctor. I really
don't want to go to the doctor if I don't
have something that can be treated. I
don't want to just have the symptoms
slowed down. I am taking care of the
latter.
