I am so unhappy and sick and I can't stand the idea of going through another quarter of school I think I want to be in the hospital.

Hey girl... I felt so ready to go into hospital when I did, as an inpatient. I think you come to a time when you realise that things arent going to change unless you do something, and by saying you want to go into hospital its a fantastic thing to be able to realise that.

I was really really unhappy with everything, and after I went into hospital it was awesome to just be able to get everything off my shoulders and chill out.. I got heaps of support, and my inpatient was only like 5 months ago, and im doing great now. It takes a lot of hard work and patience, but if you have support like at the hospital it is 1000 times easier.

Tell me what you decide. Xxx love ol xx

Thanks breeanna! How long did u go for? And is it as scary as I imagine it to be? I am afraid I won't be able to talk to anybody. Also how were your parents with it. I have been in therapy for a year and my parents still don't know I have an eating disorder.

Ive been in the hospital before over the summer actually. I really didn't want to go in because I was scared and stuff. When I got there it wasn't as bad as I thought. It felt good to be able to take some pressure off for a while. I got a lot of support at the hospital and it turned out to be a good experience even knowing I didn't want to be there. When I was put in the hospital that was the first time that my parents found out. They were upset and all but actually the hospital had support for them and made them understand better. I felt really good to get out and be able to do things on my own and I was healthy. I am relapsing right now because of some things that have been going on but at least im not as bad as I was over the summer and its all thanks to the hospital. This time when I go in ill be ready. It really helps to go to the hospital although you dont want to become dependent on it every time you start slipping back into your eds trap you'll learn to work at it on your own. I hope this helps and I hope you get better. Im here if you ever need to talk. Good luck!

Hey
Hey babe. I was an inpatient for only 2 an a half weeks, but an out patient for 6 and a half. It is scary at the start I wont lie to you... I guess it comes down to the control thing, well for me, cause I couldnt just walk out and do whatever I wanted. I wasnt in for an ed, I was just in a phyc ward, for sucidal tendancies.... So I guess its a bit different. After being there a few nights, it gets really settled, and you will prob start to feel a hell of a lot better because everythings off your shoulders, and people arent expecting you do all this caca, like homework and cleaning and stuff. You are sick and its like they finally realise it (hospital staff). As for parents mine were really hard at first - they thought I didnt have a problem and that my problems were nothing in "real" life, and that I shouldnt be upset. We had family meetings and it was very hard but really good because I could tell them what I had been going through and why I had been acting the way I did. They understood with the help of the staff too. If your parents know your in therapy, it will probably be a lot easier, because they know something isnt right. If you decide to go in, im sure they will support you if you let them know that it is the best thing for you, because thats what they want from you.

Call me ol. Hope things are okay, love ol xx
