Q: Conceiving Girls? Or In My Case Boys!!

Extremely eHealthy

My partner and I have decided next year we want to try for another baby. We already have 2 gorgeous boys (4 & 18mths) and think another would complete the family! What I just wanted to know was if anyone knew anyways to try and conceive a girl? Its just there is a big history of boys in both our families and although another boy would be an absolute blessing a daughter would just be lovely. Ive heard about having sex a few days before you ovulate but does this really work? It would be interesting to hear any ideas!

Sorry to say, but the sex of the baby isn't something you can have control over. Of course you may come across something that says if you want a girl or if you want a boy try this but they're basically just myths. The sex of the baby is determind only by the sperm and nothing can really change that.

Not wanting to sound to desperate or anything but there have been tests to show that female sperm are stronger than male sperm and the more acidic your vagina is the more harder it is for the sperm to 'swim' therefore killing alot of the weaker sperm (male) has anyone else heard this or have any other tips?
