Q: Arthritis Questions

Im a college student doing a paper on the sociological aspects of having arthritis. I was curious if anyone could help me with just a couple short interview questions.
1. Do you ever feel that you can't be included in activities that your peers are doing due to your arthritis?

2. Do you feel that medical attention (such as medicine, or doctors advice) helps to ease the pain of arthritis?

3. Do you feel that arthritis is properly represented in the media (commercials, movies, etc)

thanks for your time!

Questions
I will answer your questions. I am 54, and because of the arthritis in my knees I cannot run or walk like I used to. I cannot get on my knees to play with an animal or a child. As for medication or doctors advise. They help to a certain extent and then there seems to be a leveling off. The pain is still there. I do not feel that it is represented properly anywhere. The medicines that they advertise do not help as much as the ads say. And arthritis can be very debilatating. I hope this helps you and good luck with your paper.
