14 Years After Genital Warts
Posted: 12-06-05 13:30pm

I am seeing someone that has just told me that she had genital warts 14 years ago. She got them burned off and has not had them since. I understand that the virus remains inside of her. She has had 4 other relationships, including being married for 4 years, and none of the guys ever got it. I have been tested and am clean. The question is, am I crazy to have sex with her? We have been going out for 2 months and this is not a 'casual' relationship. I have strong feelings for her, but am I risking too much?

Any feedback from similar scenarios would be appreciated.

I suppose there's a chance, but there's always a chance. I say it pretty unlikely if none of the other guys got it, but not impossible.

You're a virgin, so chances are, no. It might have just been a zit (from lack of keeping clean), an ingrown hair, or a newly growing hair.
