I have been suffering from sharp pains in the back of my head generally around the crown area for about two years. They are sharp pains that come and go every so often and only last anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes but are so severe in pain they cause temporary loss of hearing and sight, this is sometimes accompanied by nausea but not always. Well fro the last two days I have had almost the same pain on the right side of my head. They are sharp pains that almost feel like electric shock contractions. They have been constant. They started occuring every ten minutes or so and would just be a few jolts of pain and then it was done. Now they are coming every 30 seconds to two minutes and the pain is very intense. I have been to the doctor about this and I am not confident it what they said only because of the unproffessional response........Can someone please help?

Get a second opinion. Whenever you are dissatisfied with what the doctor tells you - go to another one. I don't know what the first doctor told you but it sounds to me like you have a ligitimate complaint and I would continue seeking medicial help until you get the answer and help that you need.

Yeah diffinatly get another opinion. I saw a doctor about them and he said they were nothing, when clearly its something because this is not normal. So theres another doctor who actually listens to what you say. I have been for blood tests, and they were fine. Then because I have a Congenital Squint and 2d vision and have had operations she surgested I see if it was my squint, but Its not my squint. So clearly get another opinion. If you get any news please share.
