Q: a Baby Girl!!!

Hi everyone,

i have a precious baby girl, emily, who is now six days old! Can you believe it?! I was 8 days early from my due date. She is so precious that I can't use words to describe how I feel every time I look at her. *sigh*

i had her wednesday morning at 11:30 on november 30. My contractions started at 2:00am and it felt like period cramping as you ladies had put it! They woke me up every half hour. Finally, at 5 I couldn't take it anymore and called my doctor. I wasn't even positive they were contractions, and the baby never dropped. On monday, I was dilated one cm, then when we got to the hospital, I was 3 cm. My husband and I walked for about 35 minutes, and I dilated to 8-9 cm!!!!!!!! I got the epidural at that point, and then started pushing after less than an hour. My water did not break naturally, so my Dr. Had to do it. I pushed for a total of an hour and a half. I was very lucky the labor was not that long. I did have to have an episiotomy done though. But it was all very worth it. She is just a miracle that my husband and I are sooo grateful for.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Emily
Hi everyone,

thank you so much for the congrats!

We named her. Emily lynn. Sleep?! What the heck is that?! Lol. Actually, I enjoy her so much that i'm fine with only 3-4 hours a night, if even that! (i was worried about postpartum depression though before I gave birth) I feel so blessed and know how all the mommies and daddies feel out their when they look at their child(ren) and feel that something special that you can't even put it into words.

Truly blessed,
ctrule
