I have been suffering with a dull pain under my left rib cage for about 6 months now. I discovered there is a noticeable bulge in the same location where the pain is, I contacted my physician and he located a fatty tumor. A few months later it was removed in september. It was assumed this was my problem and I would be ok, that is not the case. I was told by the surgeon to give it about 6-8 weeks and the swelling would be down. This is not at all the case, I followed up with my regular physician and he sent me for a x-ray on tuesday, results unknow, other then he is now sending me for a nuclear bone scan. If there is anyone at all out there that has had any experience with this please reply

I have also been experiencing pain under my left lower rib, for quite some time now - months and months -
just about 2 years ago it began with chest pain... then extreme fatigue physically, and could no longer be active with sports, shortness of breath, pains in my left lower abdomen, and under the left side of my rib cage.
I was told by a doctor i had arthritis in my chest walls... and im a teenage girl? sound right?
I doubt it, but i'm yet to find any answers.. and busy sucking up any pain, discomfort or basic unableness in my lifes activities.
Anyone with answers reply!!!
