Have you talked to your doctor about this? Maybe if you could set up a video camera to tape while you sleep so you can see what happens and so can the doctor?
Sounds like speaking to the doctor and getting some testing done is wise.
For safety, the pillow as jennifer mentioned is important. One that you can breath through (either has holes in it or one that air can easily pass through, not a soft one.)
make sure you do not have too many blankets that you could have trouble breathing in if you had a seizure.
For your boyfriend, has he read info on seizure first aid?
>never put anything in the mouth of someone having a seizure
>stay calm and stay with them
>time how long the seizure or "fit" lasts (i know that term is used a lot in some countries but some find it bothersome)
>if the seizure lasts greater than 5 minutes, call an ambulance
>turn the person on their side so any fluid in the mouth can drain out and not cause choking
>loosen tight clothing
>remove glasses
>reassure the person when they come around! Be calm. It may take them awhile to understand and feel more normal afterward. They may be agitated, angry, upset, embarassed and are usually very tired and need to rest.
I hope this helps some!
