Q: Hirsutism

Hi,
i suffer from excessive hirsutism and was wondering if anyone was aware of alternative treatments for it. The only one that i've come across is the use of saw palmetto (if that's how its spelt) but im not sure of how to use it, in which form and where to get it from. I have read that acupuncture and diet changes also help, but I have been unable to find specifics on how to go about this.

It would really help if someone could point me to information or resources that might help me in dealing with this. Ive had this all my life (ever since I was a kid) and it has consequently affected my self esteem to a great degree. I've never learned to swim and have stopped going to the beach completely, never worn a tank top, shy away from social situations, avoid getting intimate with people that I love very much and now find myself leaning towards gender dysphoria and experiencing feelings of penis envy and penis desire because ive never been able to fully manifest (or perceive) myself as a woman.

Just so it helps to answer
im
female
19
vegetarian
south asian
reside in mississauga, canada (thats so if anyone knows any clinics/stores that I go to for help. Clinics/stores in toronto can also be recommended).

Thanks a lot
i hope everyone is having a good day.

Active User, very eHealthy
Here is one link to a site that seems to have a very good bit of information.

hirsutism.Homestead.Com/

i will continue to look around more but for now this is decent.

The best advice I can offer you is to do a google search on your subject and then look for a doctor or hospital to help you.

Good luck,
