That is a bacterial disease...Did you take antibiotics for it? I'm hoping you did as you now you had it...But anyways, you need to go to your gyn and have him/her assess you...There is a huge complication called pid, pelvic inflammatory disease which you get from that std (along with gonnherra), pid is what can cause infertility....You really need to discuss all that with your gyn and they can better explain and have the proper instruments to see if you have or had pid.
