Hello,

just today I had red in my stool, but it didnt seem to be any sort of liquid because it was stuck to the stool and not streaming off into the water, nothing was on the tissue paper either. I do eat alot of red foods ( red chips and cheetos) could this be blood or just the food that I ate from the day before? I also have once before had blood on the tissue paper but nothing in the stool, could that be a rash? I hope this is not cancer, please someone tell me, thanks.

If it is reoccurring, go to a doctor. A one time occurence is usually nothing.

Hi There. Have a Question About Colon Symptoms And Problems.
Hi there. I have been having constipation problems on and off for a couple of months now. I also get pain under my rib cage and pain in my lower abdomen (on the lower left side of the belly button). I sometimes feel like something is lodged in the lower left side of my abdomen and I don't really know what the signs are for colon problems/cancer. I don't have any rectal bleeding--just abdominal discomfort and pain in the lower abdomen/accompanying the constipation problems. I just started having the constipation problems this year (i didn't always have it). I had a colonoscopy done a couple of years ago---way before I had these problems and everything was fine (except that I didn't have these symptoms before then.) can someone on here help provide me with any useful advice of what this could be and tests that could be done to see what this is (colon or other)? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
