I am new so please bare with my simplistic questions.
My daughter is 21 years old. When she was living with her boyfriend 2 years ago, they did alot of meth (speed). She went into a seizure (grand mal from what I understand) was taken to the hospital. Tests came back inconclusive. I did not witness this. She has since moved in with me. She has had 3 grand mal seizures since january, 3-5 minutes long. She has done speed ocassionaly but quit over 3 months ago. I contributed speed and her diet to her seizures. She had no problems from april until oct.31. She had her last seizure. After being off speed for 2 months. Now she has "blackouts"? She will be talking and then her face drops. It lasts between 3/7 seconds and is happening more and more. Is a blackout a "fit"? Are blood tests pointless?- go straight to a nueroligist?
The reasons I ask is because I must pay for services rendered. Med ins. Is not a option at this time. Please note my daughter is my life.
Thanks
