Enlarged/hard Veins On Penis
Posted: 12-01-05 17:25pm

Just last weekend I woke up and noticed that there was a bump on the shaft of my penis, it was not hard and did not have a head (like a zit) and was rather large. It was gone by that night.

Now, where that bump was, I can feel a tubular vessel that is firm and larger than other vessels on my penis. Could it be clogged? It is slightly painful to touch but not excrutiating. I am refraining from masturbating or other sexual activity because I would rather let this alone.

Just yesterday the vessel hardness has move from just going vertically on the right side of the shaft, to horizontal at one area across the shaft under the glans.

Could I have a thrombosed vein? Could a lymphatic vessel be clogged?

Any insight would be great.

Might be a thrombosed, and it might be clogged. Both are possibilities based on what you described. I would go visit your doctor asap and have him check it out.

Going to try to get in the health center tomorrow, and then visit my family doctor after that. I have no health care coverage, so it's making it a difficulty.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else have any opinions?

Also, if it is just a clogged lymph vessel or bad circulation, will these fix themselves or will I have to take antibiotics and/or surgery?

I think it depends on severe it is as to how they will have to go about fixing the problem. On a side note; does it hurt? What about when your put pressure on it? If it doesn't, chances are it isn't thrombosed.

It hurts slightly when there is pressure, nothing debilitating.

Though, I am going to have it checked; it's just a matter of getting into the health center or actually getting an appointment with my family doctor. I came here just to get more opinions.

Thanks.
