i've been on yasmin for 8 months...If you have any questions! (i love it!)

I was on yasmin for a year. I came off of it in july. For me, the side effects were bad. I had mood swings, acne, and weight gain (20 lbs). Plus, I hear that they mess up your periods once getting off of it.

Hi i'm new to this site. I'm starting yasmin tomorrow after being on alesse for a few years. I've had moderate cyclical skin problems for a while and never thought maybe it would be due to the bc so I thought I would try yasmin. I'm a bit scared as to the side effects I might get. Ie weight gain, worse skin, etc. If anyone can give me their view on the pill that would be great.

I have taken yasmin, which I currently am not taking anymore. I developed severe acne and very oily skin. My mood was perfect. I didn't have the mood swings like with others. I also developed chest discomfort, and i'm only 26. I assume the cp was due to the diuretic in the pill that causes potassium depletion. I still have the acne and oily skin.
