I was just doing some more research as usual. I have my appointment tomorrow with a gi doctor, and even though i'm scared, i'm anxious to resolve this nonstop issue.
I was just reading up on gerd, and found out some very important information. I can't relate to all of the symptoms, but I did find some very important information on gerd and peptic ulcers.
My symptoms include left-sided rib pain right below and beside my left breast. The pain radiates around the left side to my upper back area. Every now and then I experience heartburn, and the feeling that my food is coming back up my esophogus. According to the website I just looked at i'm thinking I might have a peptic ulcer....Most of the symptoms relate, and unfortunately i've been taking a lot of ibuprofen to get rid of the pain, and it talks about cigarettes, alcohol consumption, caffeine (and esp. Coffee), and the heavy usage of nsaids being the result to such ulcers...Along with many other reasons such as stress, and so forth.
I just thought I would pass this information along to anyone who is interested or experiencing the same problems.
I will keep everyone informed as I go along, because this website has been a special help.
