Hi! I'm new here, I was searching for symptoms like mine over the net and it sure seems to be difficult. Then I landed here and thought i'd give it a try.

I have this electricity like sensation in the chest, the starting point is the sternum and tad on the left. It was just from neck to stomach at first. It can last minutes, hours or even more than a day.

Today though, it is not only vertical, it is not some kind of trianble, like a t. Is the sternum and from one breast to the other. I have tried to relax, to keep away from things that can worry me etc.. But to no avail. I am on medication, so I have xanax around and tried it and it does not work.

I've had other symptoms that were helped by xanax, anxiety, panic attacks etc... And I do know that if meds like those can help, it might be a sign that it has nothing to do with the heart. So, up to date, I was not worrying.

It is not a pinching sensation like those i've had often underneath a breast. I don't know what that is but it never really worried me. Maybe it should.

So this is it, has anyone ever felt like they had electricity in the chest? At times it is so intense that I start crying silently, can't help it at all. Although very worried, I am not easy on calling for medical help, too long a story.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Respectfully;
