Hi,

i was just doing some research on some symptoms i've been having and came across this website. I, like many other people, am glad to know that I am not the only one experiencing this pain on the left side of my upper rib (it's right beside my breast). I sometimes feel it on my right side, but not as much, and when I lie down on my left side it's very bothersome. I do smoke, and I can't help but wonder if that has something to do with it.

The pain also radiates to the left side of my back around my shoulder blade area....It almost feels like my back needs to be cracked, but I know that's not the case, because i've tried many times.

I have a consulation with a gi doctor for a colonoscopy which i'm very nervous about. I pray to god it's nothing serious, and that it is something that will go away. The pain is dull for the most part, but it's bothersome because it's constant. It's always there, and I keep worrying that it's my heart or something.

I also notice that it feels better when I work out which I recently just started doing. If anyone has any information or has had their colonosocopy yet I would like to hear how everything turned out.

Thanks.
